Community Harvest Permit (CHP)
The CHP hunt has been enjoined by the court. All CHP hunters should stay in touch with the hotline and websites for details. Those that hunted in the CHP hunt last year may be eligible for a tier I permit this year. Ahtna expects ADF&G to issue a public statement explaining the details of how CHP hunters are affected by the court ruling and emergency regulations adopted by the BOG on July 28. Ahtna will post this information on its website as soon as possible after we receive it.
